Jack Feivou
ADVISOR
Jack Feivou is an award-winning entertainment executive, producer, and creative leader with more than three decades of experience developing and operating live entertainment, theatrical productions, special events, and immersive experiences. His career has encompassed nonprofit arts organizations, performing arts centers, amphitheaters, major theme parks, and global entertainment destinations. Working as a stage manager, technical director, production manager, producer, general manager, and chief executive, Jack has developed a rare understanding of both the creative and operational sides of the entertainment business. His leadership philosophy is grounded in a simple distinction: things are managed, but people are led.
Jack began his career in professional theatre and dance, working with organizations including Nickerson Theatre, TheatreWorks, Albany Berkshire Ballet, and Dennis Wayne Dancers. He later contributed to prominent events such as the Effie Awards, Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, Chicago Magnificent Mile Holiday Processional, and numerous corporate and marketing productions. He also spent seven years as Events and Operations Manager at Trinity College, where he taught stage management and helped prepare emerging practitioners for careers in live entertainment.
Jack joined Walt Disney World Resort in 1997 as a production manager for conventions and special events. He managed more than 200 events during his first year and went on to produce major marketing experiences for Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line. For the launch of Disney Cruise Line, he helped transform Times Square into a tropical destination during winter—complete with sand, palm trees, and beachwear—generating extensive media attention and vacation bookings.
After serving as Director of Artistic Operations and Chief Operating Officer for Boston Ballet, where operational efficiencies allowed more than $400,000 to be reinvested in creative work, Jack returned to Disney. He produced “Dream Along with Mickey” at Magic Kingdom and contributed to the Emmy Award-winning 2005 Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade. His Disney work also included the 2000 Super Bowl Halftime Show and “Disney on Parade,” the first parade created for Hong Kong Disneyland, as well as major events surrounding the resort’s opening.
As General Manager of Entertainment Operations at Walt Disney World, Jack led a cast of more than 800 employees responsible for stage shows, atmosphere entertainment, character experiences, and photo imaging. His responsibilities included entertainment at EPCOT, Downtown Disney, and Disney’s water parks, requiring him to balance artistic quality, guest satisfaction, safety, financial performance, and the daily demands of large-scale operations.
Following Disney, Jack served as President and CEO of Fox Associates, where he led St. Louis’s Fabulous Fox Theatre, one of the nation’s largest touring Broadway venues. The organization also included MetroTix and Fox Theatricals, a producer of Tony Award-winning Broadway productions. He later joined Universal Creative as a Senior Show Producer, leading the creative development of a major themed land for Universal Beijing Resort. His work there earned Thea Awards for Outstanding Achievement for Universal Studios Beijing and “How to Train Your Dragon: Untrainable.”
Today, Jack continues his creative leadership as Owner and Executive Producer of High Angle Productions and as a consultant with The MagicMakers® Group. He helps organizations develop entertainment concepts, guide creative teams, improve production practices, and connect artistic ambition with disciplined execution.
A graduate of Adelphi University, Jack has been active in the United States Institute for Theatre Technology since 1991. He has served as Vice President for Conferences, a commissioner, director, presenter, and longtime mentor. Giving back to the industry remains central to his work, and he is deeply committed to developing the next generation of entertainment professionals.
